Residential Care Provider – Strathmore:

The Foothills A.I.M. Society is currently seeking various homes/care providers for adults with disabilities.

The Home Living department is currently seeking the following positions:

Singles, couples or families who are willing to take an individual into their home full-time and provide daily living skills training as well as support them in all aspects of their life.

Individuals attend day program 4-5 days per week as well as attend respite 2 weekends a months in most cases.

All positions require you to have a driver’s license, reliable vehicle, criminal record and child and family service check. There is training provided to all care providers hired.

Eligible candidates will be paired with an individual who best suits your home and lifestyle.

Compensation is paid monthly and is based on the individual’s level of need.

Respite Provider – Strathmore 

The Foothills A.I.M. Society is currently seeking singles, couples or families to provide respite care (1 or 2 weekends a month) to an individual with developmental disabilities in your home.

Requirements:

  • criminal record check and child and family service check

  • reliable vehicle

  • First aid and CPR (required within 3 months)

  • willing to attend training offered by the agency

Rehabilitation Worker – Strathmore

The successful candidate must meet hiring criteria.

Requirements:

  • Grade 12 education or higher

  • current first aid and CPR training

  • police security clearance

  • a valid Alberta Drivers license and reliable vehicle.

Hours of work for this position are from:

  • 9:30 am to 3:30 pm

  • Monday to Friday

  • 30 hours per week

This position will be based from the Strathmore Branch.
