Competition open to all photographers of any age.

Maximum 5 entries per person and only 2 winning photos per photographer will be chosen.

Each image can only be entered once. Duplicates will be removed.

In order to fit properly in the calendar, the images must sized to 8″ by 10″ Please make sure they are high resolution, at least 300 DPI.

Please no cellphone photos, as they are not high enough quality.

Horizontal photos only. Vertical and odd shaped photos will not be accepted.

The your name and subject title should be saved in the file description.

The images must be your original work.

You must be the sole author and owner of the copyright of all images entered.

Source material or proof of permission to use must be made available on request by the AIM Society.

The AIM Society does not accept any liability for the publication of unlawfully reproduced images.

All images should show a positive reflection of anywhere in Southern Alberta.

Artwork and illustrations will not be accepted.

To enter the contest, email your photos to fundraising@faims.org by the contest August 31, 2017 deadline.

Images should be submitted as jpgs.

The AIM Society takes no responsibility for late entries.

By entering your image, you grant the AIM Society the non-exclusive right to reproduce it for any purpose at any time in any media with attribution. For example, we may use your images in online articles on www.faims.org.

The winners consent to the use of their image, name and/or photograph in any publicity carried out by the AIM Society, without further compensation.

The winning images will be judged by voters on social media.

Only a maximum of one out of the five photos per artist will be accepted for the calendar.

The order of the photos will be chosen for style purposes in the calendar, rather than in the order of 1st place to 12th place.

The calendar cover photo will be selected by the AIM Society for style purposes of the calendar.

The AIM Society’s decision on all matters relating to the competition is final.

The AIM Society reserves the right to withhold prizes if, in the opinion of the judges, the quality of entries falls below the standard required.

The winning images will be used in AIMS fundraising calendars, as well as on faims.org, newsletters and social media.
